These might also be the easiest bullets ive ever reloaded for both the 308 and the 338 federal with the 165 grain bullets are super accurate with benchmark powder 308Steevo - 01/03/2025I shoot these in several 308's n get .3moa in all of them! Quick clean kills every time. Total weight retention and total pass thrus are the norm. ExcitedStumpHunter - 12/07/2024Too much to capture in this text box, a more in depth review can be seen in this forum thread: https://www.marlinowners.com/threads/maker-bullets.653015/Load, velocity, terminal performance, etc. Sub Par- Epic =(Carlton Bottenbley - 02/03/2024Ok so I bought some of these because I was referred here by David from Druid Hill Armory stating "because of the expensive Oxygen free copper he uses that reliably expands instead of breaking apart due to it being brittle and made of cheaper materials." After getting my order in my mail im a little disappointed to be honest. After opening it really looks like you guys sent me a 2nds run. 1. There is a bunch of tarnishing all over the bullets and blemishes. which is a little unsettling considering the reputation Maker Bullets have for quality.2. The channels cut into the bullet arent symmetrical. Some cuts are a noticeably longer down the bullet than the other cuts. Additionally the cuts arent clean on them and cuts are inconsistent in depth that they are cut. so some are shallow and some others on the same bullet look deeper and a little ragged. Which makes me work if they will be consistent on game outside of water testing.Considering the reputation of Maker bullets everyone says, this is really a bummer. I really feel like I got sent a seconds run based on the details on the bullets and quality control. I dont think these should have gone out.Im just gonna burn the order at the range plinking and call it a loss, But I really wanted these to do well especially after I called before ordering, and how you shut down CE bullets as inferior quality, but Ive never received this much blemishes in quality from a 1st run from CE bullets or Nosler. Its on par with Walmart Remington bulk stuff in QC, and im not trying to be mean or embellish, but that has been my experience thus far.PAUL: First and foremost, I have never talked bad about a competitor. I don't recall every talking to Carlton, but I may have. If I did, I certainly did not talk negatively about CE. I also, never heard from him, never saw any pics. We don't have seconds, but we don't handle every bullet either. If we have a problem and someone lets me know, I stand behind my product 100%. Phone always forwards to my cell, so you always get me. We don't make pretty bullets. We make hunting bullets. Nothing you shoot will know the difference.Click to review this product
