Using a Winchester XPR with 22” barrel average velocity was faster then advertised at 2,389 fps. Using a Caldwell shooting rest(NOT led sled) groups at or below 1 inch at 100 yards are the norm.
This ammo was recently used on a whitetail deer hunt with excellent results, harvesting a buck cleanly with a single shot at 86 yards. The round made a clean pass through behind the shoulders. The buck piled up within 75 yards of the shot, and was easily recovered. Exit wound indicated double diameter bullet expansion. I suspect a shoulder shot would still be a complete pass through, and would reduce recovery distance significantly. I highly recommend this ammo for the .350 Legend!
